Two vehicles of the same model can use different windshields. A rain sensor, heated glass, an acoustic layer, a heads-up display, or a windshield-mounted camera can change the part required. Send your year, make, and model, plus a photo of the glass and the area around the rear-view mirror. A VIN can help identify the specification, but is optional when requesting a quote.

Preparing for your appointment
Choose level parking with room to work around the front of the vehicle, remove loose items from the dashboard, and arrange access to the keys. Tell us about existing leaks, rust, or previous glass work. Weather, access, and the bonding surface are reviewed before installation proceeds; unexpected findings may affect the agreed work.
After installation & returning to use
Your technician explains the adhesive’s safe drive-away time and any instructions about tape, washing, or use of the vehicle. Some driver-assistance systems require camera recalibration after replacement. Confirm the manufacturer’s requirements and the necessary arrangements before booking; RN Auto Glass does not advertise in-house recalibration.
